What could be better than reading this blog online? Well on your iPhone of course. Our favorite Pheeder coming out will be our own Phodder Pheeder. It will showcase our great features and ease of use. In the future, we hope to demonstrate the added advantage of having an iPhone application drive traffic and increase brand loyalty. As soon as its live on iTunes we will post again with the information.

ReadWriteWeb reports that market research agency GfK released a report today that found iPhone users are more likely to recall and respond to ads than other mobile phone users. Surprising? Not really, but the report did find some very interesting statistics regarding mobile users.
- One in ten mobile phone users in the U.S. used a location-based service such as a map, friend or restaurant finder in Q4 2008.
- iPhone users are four times as likely to recall LBS (location-based service) ads as non-iPhone users.
- While men and women are equally likely to recall mobile advertising, women are 85 percent more likely to respond to ads than men
- Calling a toll free phone number published in the ads is the most common means of response; iPhone users called twice as much as non-iPhone users
- One in seven consumers reported buying a product or visiting a store as a result of seeing a mobile advertisement; for iPhone users, more than one in four bought something as a result of seeing an ad
So what does all of this data mean? I think these are strong numbers to urge mobile advertisers to spend more money developing ads targeted at iPhone users. Given the growing popularity of not only iPhones, but Internet-ready mobile phones, these numbers should encourage advertisers to increase spend (particularly local advertisers).
How effective have your mobile ads been? Are you focusing marketing efforts in this area during the current economic climate?

You can now follow up on Twitter. We are giving updates and offering some simple information on iPhone Apps.
Phodder will unveil its website in a few days. The site will showcase the creativity of its developers and demonstrate the advantages of its applications through multimedia. The countdown begins…..
Research reveals that between 3-10% of on-line traffic to a PC website now comes from users entering web addresses on their mobile device. Statics have more than doubled from last year to this year and with more wide screen mobile phones coming out the rise will continue. In order to capture this 5-10% traffic websites are having to think more about getting there name into mobile devices.
Pheeder gives websites the opportunity to capture this area with their own application. Increase traffic can bring more revenue streams and better branding to webmasters. If you ever thought of getting into the market of iPhone applications to generate traffic and a better online community there is no better time than now. Check out the many benefits Pheeder is giving to websites.
The first website to become an Apple iPhone application is Daily Scroll. Taken from the iPhone App Store:
“Of making many blogs there is no end, and much scrolling is a weariness of the flesh.”
So might Solomon have written if he were alive today. My name is Chris Ross, and I created The Daily Scroll for people who enjoy reading Christian blogs, but don’t have lots of time to surf the web each day. Here you’ll find links to the latest and greatest posts appearing around the faith blogosophere.
The site’s RSS feed is taken for content. Our in house art department takes the logos and colors to create them specifically for the application. Then our coders put it all together. The process took 3 days. The main wait is the time Apple takes to approve the application. But after a few weeks Daily Scroll has its application up and already as seen some traffic generated by the application. Good luck to Daily Scroll.
We have a lot more applications to be made by Pheeder. And today, we celebrate our first.

Google wigged out by volume of iPhone traffic
When even Google is impressed by the amount of traffic driven to its search page by a particular device, that’s saying something. The head of the company’s mobile group said in a Mobile World Congress interview that it “made [its] engineers check the logs again” when data indicated that the iPhone was responsible for 50 frickin’ times more traffic than any other mobile device, going on to hypothesize that if other manufacturers follow the same route, mobile search will overtake desktop search within a few years. With products like S60 touch and Google’s own Android in the wings, we’d say the writing’s on the wall.
This is being reported from many sources recently. iPhones are not just for phone calls but driving millions of visitors from the phone to the internet. Websites can now be accessed from anywhere and iPhone apps are creating a new rush in website traffic. As the technology gets faster it may soon be a real push to garner as much iPhone traffic as possible to keep websites profitable in the future.
Phodder will be identified with iPhone applications from here on out. The new company has its first product, Pheeder, a great way for sites to turn their brand into an iPhone application. Using the current sites RSS read, Pheeder combines the logos and colors of the website and turns it into a fantastic iPhone application. The benefits are incredible for websites. Not only does this elevate the level of exposure for the website but when in use gives another way for incoming traffice and great search engine optimization for the site. With increased exposure, daily hits, increased advertising, and of course the cool factor, Pheeder is sure to be the talk of 2009.
